ACME Flex. (hereinafter referred to as “We”, “Our” or “Us”), as a rental equipment supplier, recognize that protecting personal information is one of our most important management priorities. We have created the following “Personal Information Protection Policy” to ensure the proper protection of personal data.
1. Collection Limitation Principle
We collect personal data fairly and in line with the conditions required by applicable law, such as obtaining the consent of the data subject. We process personal data only to the minimum extent and for the minimum duration necessary for the purposes of such processing, which shall be explained at the time of collection, unless permitted by law.
2. Data Standard Principle
We limit personal data collected to be suitable to the purpose of the use and limited to the extent necessary. Also, we strive to ensure that the personal data must be accurate, thorough, and up to date.
3. Purpose identification Principle
We identify the purpose of gathering personal data prior to collection. We do not use personal data for purposes other than those specified at the time of collection. We clarify and explain the purpose of personal data collection to data subjects in an appropriate manner in plain language.
4. Use Limitation Principle
We ensure that the collected personal data is used only for the reason explained at the time of collection, unless permitted by law. If we use this data for purposes other than those explained at the time of collection, we ensure that we have the legal basis for doing so. Either by collecting the consent from data subjects or by verifying that such processing is permitted under applicable laws.
5. Security Safeguards Principle
We ensure to evaluate the risks related with the processing of personal data and protect personal data from loss, destruction, or unauthorized, unlawful, improper use, modification, or disclosure by applying reasonable security measures proportionate to the risks.
6. Honesty Principle
We confirm the policy for gathering and using personal data and clearly inform data subjects of the purpose, the responsible person (specifically, company name) for processing personal data, and the corresponding recipients of the disclosure.
7. Individual Involvement Principle
We ensure that the data subject can confirm the location and content of their personal data. Also ensuring their rights to access, correct, delete, or request the suspension of the use of their personal data.
8. Liability Principle
When processing personal data, we recognize that we (as a company) are responsible for demonstrating compliance with the above principles. We will inform its directors and employees of the responsibility.

ACME Flex. (hereinafter referred to as "We, “Our”, or “Us") strive to provide dependable rental solutions to dealers and large independent rental centers. Also to be a well trusted corporate citizen trusted by all stakeholders.
We recognize that protecting personal information is one of our top management priorities. We strive to ensure the proper protection of personal information entrusted to us by individuals in each country and region where we conduct business.
We establish the “Personal Information Protection Policy” and rules and build a management structure regarding the protection of your personal information. We also issue the following notice titled "Notice regarding Handling of Personal Information" (hereinafter referred to as "Notice").
Scope
The contents outlined in this Notice are subject to “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” of Japan (hereinafter referred to as “APPI”), and this Notice defines how We handle personal information that we process.
In this notice, We refer all individuals who are subject to APPI and whose personal information are processed by us as “You”, including customers who use our products and services, business partners, shareholders, attendees of events hosted by us, and individuals seeking to join our company. APPI also applies to the personal information of foreigners processed by us, regardless of their place of residence or nationality.

Handling of Personal Information for Each Product, Service, and Business
In addition to this notice, we may issue individual privacy policies or privacy notices (hereinafter referred to as “Individual Privacy Policies”) to provide detailed information about how personal information is handled in each initiative. If there are any discrepancy between this Notice and Individual Privacy Policies, Individual Privacy Policies will take precedence.

We comply with APPI and other related laws, regulations, and guidelines when handling personal information. We establish and enforce our own rules regarding personal information protection that adhere to these laws and other applicable regulations.

We define personal information as any information that we obtain and process, through which a specific individual can be identified, either by a single piece of information or a combination of two or more pieces of information, including but not limited to individual’s name, date of birth, age, gender, address, telephone number, email address, name of workplace, address of workplace, telephone number of workplace, bank account number, various numbers or character strings assigned to an individual, information about Our products and services, information about web pages accessed, complaints, consultations, inquiries, and other information related to an individual obtained in connection with Our business.
In addition, “You” refers to the individual who can be identified from personal information.
Based on this Notice, We protect and manage personal information with the utmost care and effort.
We will never obtain nor use sensitive information, such as race, creed, social status, medical history, criminal history, or the fact of having suffered damage by a crime, except where the law requires it or You have given consent.

We will use personal information only to the extent necessary to achieve the following purposes: (All individuals who are involved in our business services or activities, customers and potential customers, business partners, shareholders, participants in events hosted by our company, and individuals who seek to join our company.)

We will retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of use (including the purposes of satisfying legal or accounting requirements).
When deciding the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider several factors such as the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information. The potential risk of unauthorized use or disclosure, purposes of use, whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
In some cases, we may anonymize your personal information for research or statistical analysis to ensure that it can no longer be linked to you. In such cases, we may use anonymized information for an unlimited period of time without notifying you.
